Progresso

Friday, February 27th, 2009

Progress on the site is happening at a brisk pace! Walking around the gym, you are now able to get a sense of size and shape of each area. This week the focus has been getting the roof finished and the building dried-in. Once this is complete, the fire suppression crew will arrive and install the sprinkler system. Here is a slideshow of the week’s progress.

Rooms with a View

Thursday, February 19th, 2009

The mezzanine, yoga studio and fitness (second floor)rooms were installed this week. When designing the gym we knew the views from these rooms would be good, but what they have turned out to be, has taken our breath away. We are all very fortunate to live in such a beautiful place.

The building is going up in record time relative to construction in a Colorado winter. We hope to have all the walls and roof finished by next week. After the building is “dried in” – meaning that if it rains the building’s interior does not get wet – Rockwerx will arrive and start erecting climbing walls.

Here is a quick slideshow of views and the current state of construction. Enjoy and have a great weekend.

Construction at the site is moving right along. We have been able to get all of the steel super-structure up and will be putting the skin of the building on in the coming weeks. Have a great weekend everyone!
