<p>Come do 108 Sun Salutations with a team of Movement&#8217;s  teachers to  raise funds for charity! Each participant raises funds on his/her own then joins the group for sun salutations on Saturday the 18th. There is no additional charge by Movement to participate.<br />

<p><strong>NEW YOGA CLASS! </strong><br />

<p>This class is for students with an existing intermediate or advanced   yoga practice who wish to challenge themselves physically, learn   sanskrit chants, and further their exploration of breathing and   meditation.  Each class will include themed postures of all types, a   detailed pranayama, chanting, or meditation practice, and savasana.</p>

There has been popular demand for an <em>earlier morning yoga class</em> at Movement, so starting Monday, October 4th we will have a 6:30 am class on our calendar taught by Jon Hererra!<br />

<p><strong>THE ROPE UP</strong><br />
Looking for new climbing partners? Excited to learn from fellow  climbers? Join us for The Rope Up! There is <strong>no charge</strong> and it&#8217;s a  great way to expand your climbing experience!<br />
Starting in October, we are offering a facilitated group 3 times a week  for climbers who range from beginning to intermediate and are excited to  meet up with new people. Stay tuned for more details&#8230;</p>

<p>Movement Climbing + Fitness has a few changes for our class schedule in August!</p>
<p>We are happy to have<strong> Mary-Laurence Bevington as our new Yoga Director</strong>.  We are very proud to have such a long-time member of the Boulder yoga community directing our yoga program.  Mary-Laurence earned a Master in Fine Arts Theatre at Naropa University and holds certificates in Body Knowledge (yoga, Pilates, and laying on of hands with Lara Kolesar), and massage therapy (Institute of Psycho Structural Balancing). She also has been involved with Movement since we opened the doors. We welcome her years of experience and practice and hope that you will enjoy her influence!</p>
<p>_______________________________________________________________________________________</p>
<p>In addition, there will be a few changes with instructors of current classes.</p>
<p>If you enjoy <strong>Heath Croll&#8217;s</strong> Wednesday night Core Essentials class, he will also be taking over Sports Conditioning (Tuesdays 6:45p to 7:30p), and Blast Cardio (Fridays 11:00a to 11:30a) and Blast Abs (Fridays 11:45a to 11:50a).</p>
<p>Also, <strong>Brent Miller</strong>, who teaches the popular Saturday Vinyasa class, will be taking over the Vinyasa Yoga on Thursday evening (6:15p to 7:30p).</p>
<p>Lastly, we are excited to add <strong>Gary Gianetti</strong> as a new fitness and cycling instructor.  He teaches high energy cycling classes that are sure to get you going in the morning (Thursdays 6:30a &#8211; 7:15a).  He also has years of experience with functional fitness and he is excited to bring a new and fresh dynamic to the fitness department!</p>
<p>Keep an eye out for more advanced yoga, group cycling, and gritty fitness classes in the coming months!</p>

<p>Come fly with us in this playful fusion of aerial and acro yoga!<br />
Build your flight skills through solo practice, partner yoga, and introductory sling work. Increase strength and flexibility, experience new dimensions of your yoga practice, and decompress with therapeutic Thai Massage.</p>
<p>Open to anyone with a basic yoga foundation and the ability to practice handstand using the wall.<br />
The cost is $30 for members and $60  for non-members<em> </em>(<em>includes 3 reduced day passes</em>).</p>

<p>Movement will be offering two workshops that combine the skills of both slacklining and AcroYoga.  The balance needed to perform basic slackline poses such as line kneeling, arm balancing, standing and lying on your back are reinforced and assisted by AcroYoga poses!</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>1st Workshop&#8211;Intro to Slacklining and AcroYoga</strong></span></p>
<p><strong>Time:</strong> 12:30p-2:30p<strong><br />
Cost: </strong> $25 Members&#8211;$35 Non-members (<em>includes reduced daypass</em>)<br />
$15 Youth Member/$25 Youth Non-Member (18 and under)</p>
<p>*All ages are welcome!  Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult*</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>2nd Workshop&#8211;Backbends and Inversions</strong></span></p>
<p>A more advanced workshop, the  pre-requisite for taking this one is either participating in the 1st workshop or instructors permission.</p>
<p><strong>Time:</strong> 3:30p-5:30p<strong><br />
Cost: </strong> $25 for members and non-members who take the first workshop<br />
$35 for non-members when purchased separately (<em>includes reduced daypass</em>)</p>

<p><strong>This is the FIRST AND ONLY Speed Wall set to IFSC standards in the US!</strong></p>

<p>The arch wall converts into the Speed Wall! We have put the wall up for the upcoming USA Climbing SCS Divisional Championship next weekend!</p>
<p>Until Thursday, June 10th, there are routes up the wall for everyone to enjoy. Speed routes will be put up on the 10th and then more added after the 13th.</p>

<p>After the competition, the Speed Wall will stay intact for one setting rotation, at which point we will disassemble it so everyone can once again enjoy the arch.</p>
<p>Come try the wall out for yourself and then watch the best Speed Climbers in our Division battle it out during the competition!</p>
